Meet Our Team

Dr Graeme Collins (Retired)

Veterinarian (BVMS)

Graeme came to the South Coast after owing a mixed animal practice in Goulburn. Initially he worked in Bega doing dairy, horse, cattle and companion animals.  He then settled in Merimbula. Graeme has extensive training and a passion for orthopaedic work and he does many of the more complicated fracture and ligament repairs. Graeme loves the beach and swimming in the ocean in his spare time.

Graeme has now retired from full time work to spend more time with his family and exploring Australia. You will still see him about the clinic doing the occasional shift - because we all know he can't stay away!

Dr Justin Daniel

Veterinarian (BVMS BSc)

Justin grew up on a rural property in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia.  It was probably here that Justin developed his great love of animals as the property maintained a large number of pets and stock including dogs, cats, horses, sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens and a string of rehabilitated birds.

Justin studied Veterinary Science at Murdoch University in Perth, which is where he and his wife Linden met as Veterinary students.

Justin graduated from University in 1998 and spent his first few years in a mixed animal practice in the Clare Valley of South Australia. As well as treating companion animals, this practice serviced pigs, sheep and cattle farms as well as a number of 'stud' properties including thoroughbred, standard bred, riding pony, alpaca and merino breeding facilities.

Linden and Justin were married in 2002 then went on a 'working honeymoon' working in several practices in England for a 12 month period.  Their time in the United Kingdom certainly broadened their experience in the veterinary profession.

Since returning to Australia, Justin worked in a busy companion animal hospital in Canberra, then spent another year in a mixed animal practice before moving to the beautiful South Coast in 2006.

Justin and Linden have had 3 boys since moving into the area and now have their own little hobby farm with sheep, alpacas, 3 horses and 2 dogs to keep their family company.

Justin enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery attending to companion animals, horses and farm animals in his working days.

In his time away from work Justin enjoys water sports, camping and bushwalking with his family, horse riding and motorbike riding.
